Self esteem is the decision made by an individual as an attitude towards the self. Basically this term is used to describe a person's overall sense of self-worth or personal value. In other words, how much you appreciate and like yourself.

Self-esteem allows people to face life with more confidence, benevolence and optimism, and thus easily reach their goals and self-actualize.
